Re: [MMUG] MobileMe Ical Beta

Jack, Sorry I don't have an iPad to check this (donations accepted), but compare the 'Info' tab in iTunes when you connect the pad & phone. I have all the boxes off because the syncing is done 'over the air' via Mobile Me on my iPhone. Then check the settings app for the Mobile Me mail account settings, there should be options to turn on syncing for the items that are deactivated in iTunes.

MobileMe Ical Beta

Since signing up for this, I have been synching calendars ok between my Mac and Iphone, but for the Ipad it is only one-way - to it. So a new event on my ipad does not go up to me.com, and therefore does not appear in my other devices. I have reported this on feedback but wondered if anyone knew how to fix this

Re: [MMUG] Moving or cloning hard drive to a new computer

Appreciate your reply Drew. As you said, apparently the MacBook Pro doesn't support Leopard (10.5). But all is fine now. The main reason I wanted to run it, is because I was having some problems running a development tool that I need to use, called JDeveloper. Leopard was running it just fine. But after much effort

Re: [MMUG] Faulty G5 Power Mac

Thanks for the comments and advice last week. I did some research on line and took the plunge to see if I could salvage anything. turns out my G5 Powermac is one of the liquid cooled ones and I've had a leak. I stripped the machine down including power supply and gave it a good clean (should have taken pics in retrospect?. The leak has done a little

Re: [MMUG] Re: BBC iPlayer

I thought it played in Safari anyway? Is there an app for iPlayer & the iPad? This page may be nice for use on the iPad etc. [link] Re:co

Re: [MMUG] Re: BBC iPlayer

Hi, Hmmm, maybe it is a setting on my iPad. If I click a video I want to watch in iPlayer, instead of playing in the interface it launches Safari. I will have to do some more tests. Thank you all for your comments. Russell
