Nice to see AppleTV get a new form-factor and a lower price point.
2nd Sep, 2010Hi thank you all for your very useful clarification and tips on this - I shall call O2 tom Jack
2nd Sep, 2010Unlock - Add the ability to use the phone on another network. Phone providers can unlock legally for you, but you usually need to have had the phone or contract for a certain period & possibly pay a fee. Unlocked phones are still 100% legit in Apple's eyes for warranty & support etc. Jailbreak - Gain access to the software to allow you to do what you want to it. eg Install apps that Apple doesn't sell in the store or modify features that iOS doesn't support.
2nd Sep, 2010why is it a curse?
1st Sep, 2010Cheers. Mel
1st Sep, 2010Mel You'll be okay as far as I know. Obviously PS CS5 makes use of the 64bit structure in SL Pete
1st Sep, 2010It depends on how long you've been with O2 I think. I got O2 to unlock my 3G before I sold it and I think you can do it yourself on the O2 website but they do say it can take up to 14 days (I think) for it to unlock. My first request was unsuccessful until o nagged the he'll out of them. I thought it might have been a ploy to extend my contract.
1st Sep, 2010If you bought your iPhone with a contract, then its likely your handset is locked to the carrier. You can always test this with a friend's sim card from a non-O2 provider. Pop it in and if it works, then you're golden and shouldn't have issues. If not, then you will have to resort to jailbreaking (although not possible
1st Sep, 2010I just wondered if anyone has advice on getting a SIM only pay as u go card in France, for example, just by changing the SIM over. Will it work, or will I have to resort to jailbreaking first? My 3GS is on 02 Thanks Jack
1st Sep, 2010Hi, I'm looking to upgrade to Snow Leopard from Tiger 10.4.1. Does anyone know if I will have any probs with my existing programs, or will I have to upgrade those as well? Photoshop CS2 (9) Illustrator CS3 (13) Indesign CS (3) - I know it's old, but it's all I've needed til now. Many Thanks, Mel
